Using a competitively bid GMP contract delivery system, Burchick Construction worked closely with The Elmhurst Group to establish a GMP and completion schedule based on 60% documents.  The building was renovated, constructed, and equipped to house an international engineering firm.

Stringent move-in schedule parameters were imposed by the Tenant on the first phase of construction.  Burchick Construction worked aggressively with the project team to complete renovation of 120,000 square feet of existing building within the first 120 days.  Phases 2, 3, and 4 of the project involved construction of a new 60,000 square foot addition to the existing building.  Amenities included high security features, multiple secure LAN rooms and data closets, a servery area, and a cafeteria, in addition to testing laboratories and training facilities.  Despite extreme volatility in the structural steel market, Burchick Construction successfully completed procurement and construction in accordance with The Elmhurst Group’s schedule requirements.
